Order before Friday 9th May to receive yours in the first batch from our suppliers.
Just with all uniform items, only official Berkshire Martial Arts shorts can be worn in class.
Recent Attack in Local Area
Many of you may be aware, or have seen on social media, that a woman was attacked last week. She was understandably shaken but luckily she was otherwise unharmed. This attack did not happen at 2am in a dark alley, it took place on a reasonably busy pedestrian route at 9am in the morning as she walked to work.
This is an excellent example of why we must be aware of our surroundings at all times, no matter the time or location, and be ready to take all necessary action to protect ourselves and our loved ones.
Situational awareness is key in avoiding such incidents, as is realistic training scenarios. Our new combatives class is our most realistic training environment and provides the closest training to a real scenario you'll find in our classes.
These sessions are open to everyone aged 16 or above and details of the next class can be found below. Make sure you book in soon to secure your place.
One week to go! - The Running Man

Sabumnim Taylor has done something stupid and signed himself up for the Bracknell Half Marathon on Sunday 11th May.
He's been unable to train for most of the last month due to injury, so if you're at the Half marathon and want to keep an eye out for him he'll probably be limping along somewhere near the back!
He is raising money for the Multiple Sclerosis Society and hopes to raise at least £500. If you would like to sponsor him or learn more about the MS Society then please head over to:
Combatives Class
The next combatives class is:

What's on?
If you have any upcoming events or activities you'd like to make Berkshire Martial Arts students aware of please email the details over to jason@berkshiremartialarts.co.uk and we will add it to the next newsletter.
