September 2026 Newsletter
LOCATION CHANGE - Wednesday 30th September
Garth Hill College will be closed on Wednesday 30th September due to hosting an open evening. As a result we will be returning back to the Brakenhale School Sports Hall for one night only!
There will be just two classes on this day. A 6pm class and a 7pm class, both sessions will be open to all ages and abilities. There will not be an 8pm class.
We will issue reminders nearer the time.
Assistant Instructor Positions
Congratulations to Ben Bates for his recent promotion to the Assistant Instructor team!
We currently have opportunities for a further two people to join the Assistant Instructor team. An AI position comes with some excellent benefits to reward the added responsibilities.
We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic students, who are hard working and have shown they enjoy helping others.

This Month's Grading
This month's colour belt grading will be held on Sunday 27th September in the Movement Studio at Brakenhale School, Rectory Lane, Bracknell, RG12 7BA . Further details will be provided to eligible students the week before the grading. The day will likely run to the approximate schedule below:
10am - Black Belt Academy Class
11am - Grading Group 1
12pm - Grading Group 2
Exact grading groups and times will be confirmed the weekend before, once we know how many people are grading
All names below are eligible to grade this month and should have received an email confirming their eligibility. Please check your spam/junk folders if you have not received your email. To secure your place in the grading we must receive a completed colour belt grading registration form and payment by Friday 18th September.
