Leisure Wear Range Added to Club Store

We're pleased to announce that a new range of leisure wear has been added to the club store. All items are designed by Sabumnim Taylor and even include T-shirts for Sabumnim O'Brien's personal training business. The leisure wear range includes T-shirts, hoodies and gym wear in a variety of colours, with most items also available in children's sizes and women's fits.

Please note: The leisure wear range is not uniform and should not be worn in class.

To view the new items, simply head on over to the Club Store and select "Leisure wear" from the main menu.

New Website/App Features

We have added a couple of new features to the student area of the website and the mobile app.

Women's Self Defence Class - These sessions can now be booked directly through the student area/mobile app by clicking "Book a Class". There's no need to remember the discount code if you're a Berkshire Martial Arts student either, just select the member option to book your space at a reduced cost.

Little Ninja Certificates - There is now also a "Little Ninjas" section in the student area/mobile app. Click this if you have completed a page in your little ninja books (or completed the whole book) and require a certificate. Simply complete the form with the student's name, certificate required and attach photo evidence fo the completed page and we will get your certificate printed up and ready for you!

Hall Changes

Thank you for your continued support with all the changes we've had to put in place while using the smaller halls. We we will be back in the sports hall Saturday 8th July at the latest.

Missing Equipment

The Darby family are missing a kids circular focus mitt with an "X" amrked on it. Please check your bags to make sure you haven't picked up this mitt by mistake.

This is a good opportunity to remind all students that we recommend marking all focus mitts/shields with initials, symbols etc so that they can easily be identified if they go missing.

Women's Self Defence Class

The next women's self defence classes are:

- 9am, Sunday 25th June, Brakenhale School. 4 SPACES AVAILABLE. Click here to book!

- 9am, Sunday 30th July, Brakenhale School. 9 SPACES AVAILABLE. Click here to book!

These classes are open to all women regardless of whether or not they are a Berkshire Martial Arts student.

What's on?

If you have any upcoming events or activities you'd like to make Berkshire Martial Arts students aware of please email the details over to jason@berkshiremartialarts.co.uk and we will add it to the next newsletter.

Climbing Mountains for Parkinson's UK!

Alexander Harris is climbing Mount Snowdon on July 10th to raise money for Parkinson's UK, he is so generous he's even dragging his Mum along too!

"I have decided to fundraise for Parkinson's UK because so many people suffer and have died from this disease including my hero, Muhammad Ali. There is no cure and more money is needed for research to find answers.

So, I have decided to climb my first mountain, Mount Snowdon. I've not done anything like this and would love it if you could sponsor me for this challenge. It's going to be tough!"

If you would like to support Alexander (and Mum) on this challenge to raise money for a very worthy cause, you can do so by clicking the link below and making a donation to their Just Giving page.
