Brakenhale Changes

As mentioned in my messages earlier in the week, the company who handles the lettings at Brakenhale School has changed. Overall this should be positive for us at it means there will also be a member of staff on site through out our bookings to address any issues (no more being locked out of the hall) and we're also hopeful that we won't need to move to smaller halls during the exams.

The new company have asked us to access the Sports Hall through the main reception entrance at Brakenhale though. Please park any cars in the front car park and enter through the main reception doors, you'll need to walk through the two sets of double doors in front of you and then turn left to head towards the Sports Hall.

Uniform and Merchandise Changes

We will shortly be reviewing the merchandise and equipment we offer to try and streamline it to just the essentials that people need and want. We'll also be reviewing our uniform offerings and there will be some polls on our WhatsApp community group over the next few weeks to gather your thoughts on what uniform items you want us to offer moving forwards.

This may well result in a big sale to clear unwanted stock so keep your eyes peeled!

Women's Self Defence Class

The next women's self defence classes are:

- 9am, Sunday 29th September, Brakenhale School. Currently 12 places remaining. Click here to book!

- Please be aware there will not be a women's self defence class in October due to dan rank gradings taking place

These classes are open to all women regardless of whether or not they are a Berkshire Martial Arts student.

What's on?

If you have any upcoming events or activities you'd like to make Berkshire Martial Arts students aware of please email the details over to jason@berkshiremartialarts.co.uk and we will add it to the next newsletter.

Fundraising

Sabumin Taylor is running 30km during September to raise money for SANDS (Stillborn and Neo-Natal Death Syndrome) who do a lot of great work supporting bereaved families following the death of a baby. If you would like to donate to this great cause you can do so using the below link.
