Uniform Reminders
Uniform standards have been slipping lately so please ensure:
- All uniforms are clean and ironed.
- Only official Berkshire Martial Arts uniform can be worn in class (no unbranded T-shirts, polo shirts, jogging bottoms etc)
- The weather is warmer now so there shouldn't be a need for wearing jumpers etc in class but if required these must be Berkshire Martial Arts branded sweatshirts and not any other sweatshirt, hoodie etc.
- Normal trainers/footwear should not be worn in class. They are unsuitable for martial arts training due to the tread preventing effective pivoting, thick soles that prevents flexibility and can injure other students. Please ensure you train in bare feet or are wearing suitable footwear such as plimsols or Tae Kwon Do training shoes. If you are unsure please check with a Chief Instructor.
We don't want to but we will start preventing repeat offenders from training if they are not in the correct uniform.
Women's Self Defence Class
The next women's self defence classes are:
- 9am, Sunday 30th April, Brakenhale School. CURRENTLY FULLY BOOKED.
- 9am, Sunday 28th May, Brakenhale School. Currently just 6 places remaining.
These classes are open to all women regardless of whether or not they are a Berkshire Martial Arts student. The classes cost £10 per person but Berkshire Martial Arts students can use the code BMALADIES to receive a 30% discount.
What's on?
If you have any upcoming events or activities you'd like to make Berkshire Martial Arts students aware of please email the details over to jason@berkshiremartialarts.co.uk and we will add it to the next newsletter.
